Provider Policy

Simple rules that keep BuildFix trusted for customers and fair for professionals.

In short

  • Be professional, responsive, and honest.
  • Protect customer privacy and contact details.
  • Keep your profile accurate and deliver the work you accept.
  • Reviews must reflect real completed jobs.

1.Your role on BuildFix

  • BuildFix connects customers with independent service professionals. You are not an employee of BuildFix.
  • You decide which jobs to take, your prices, and how you deliver the work.
  • BuildFix helps with matching, coordination on WhatsApp, and trust tools — not supervising your workmanship.

2.Professional conduct

  • Treat customers politely and communicate clearly on WhatsApp.
  • Show up at agreed times, or message early if you are delayed or cannot make it.
  • Only take jobs you can actually complete with the skills listed on your profile.
  • Do not harass, discriminate, or use abusive language.

3.Leads & communication

  • Respond to customer connections within a reasonable time — slow or repeated no-shows hurt your visibility.
  • Do not share customer contact details publicly or use them for unrelated marketing.
  • If a job is not right for you, use BuildFix flows (or tell the customer clearly) instead of going silent.

4.Customer privacy

  • Customer phone numbers are shared only after they choose to contact you through BuildFix.
  • Use customer information only to complete the requested service.
  • Do not add customers to mailing lists or sell their details.

5.Pricing & payments

  • Agree scope and price with the customer before starting work when possible.
  • Job payments are between you and the customer — BuildFix subscription fees are separate from your service charges.
  • Be honest about quotes, extras, and materials. Surprise charges damage trust.

6.Subscriptions

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable once a plan has been activated.
  • BuildFix provides visibility and access to customer enquiries but does not guarantee a specific number of leads, enquiries, or jobs.

7.Accurate profile & verification

  • Keep your services, skills, areas, and contact details up to date.
  • Only upload real photos, documents, and business registration proof that belong to you or your company.
  • Registered Business and Verified badges are shown only after BuildFix review — do not misrepresent your status.

8.Reviews & reputation

  • Customers may rate you after a completed job coordinated through BuildFix.
  • Do not pressure customers for positive reviews or post fake feedback.
  • Strong ratings and reliable service improve how often you are recommended.

9.Account suspension

  • BuildFix may pause or remove accounts for repeated no-shows, fraud, harassment, fake profiles, or policy breaches.
  • We may contact you to clarify a complaint before taking action when appropriate.
  • Serious or repeated violations can result in a permanent ban from the platform.

10.Policy updates

  • We may update this policy as the platform grows. The version and date are shown at the top of this page.
  • Continued use of BuildFix after an update means you accept the revised policy.
  • Material changes may require you to accept again before receiving new leads.
